If you like your Nuts with your Kicks, better hurry on over to their pop-up website to secure your pair. Retail at $170 and look like they are almost all Sold Out!
What do you think of the Sneaks? I suspect you would wanna pair if you are a P1/Super Fan of the Peanut brand. Or maybe they will re-sell for some $$. Me, I think I’ll pass on them. Not quite my favorite color-way. Although, I do like the inner soles.

Like Walking on Pillows-David Tourniaire-Beauciel
The designer of the oh so famous Balenciaga Triple S kicks is the mastermind behind these New Funky, Chunky, Post Space-Age Kicks-53045. They feature a pretty cushy looking bouncy sole and come in eye popping colors including Popsicle Blue (Ice), Bright Orange Blast (Flame), Blacked out Black (Black) and White (White). With a Highlighter Yellow (Acid) color coming soon as mentioned on their IG.
French Designer, David Tourniaire-Beauciel has lots of good things to say about the kicks. They are Like slippers, and similar to walking on pillows. They do look pretty comfy from the computer. Would like to try a pair on to see how they feel. So far, you can get them on-line at SHOES53045. If you have a chance to wear them, let us know how they look/feel in the comments section. See you on the Streetz!
Reebok-Storm the Court
I’ll click on any video or ad showing street basketball and usually they hoop it up. This Reebok ad doesn’t have any Dazzling Dunks, Fancy Dribbles or Behind the back Passes. It’s actually…a little Scary. Would have been a good ad to save for late October.
It promotes the 90’s inspired Aztrek Double kicks. But beware before watching the ad, it might bring back memories of the Ring-(See video below the Reebok Vid). Or maybe some 90’s horror themed Anime?
Take a look at the video. Let us know what you think of the ad or the shoes in the comment section. What I came to see is it’s the first time, I’ve had Reebok on the Streetzblog. So Maybe, the ad did its job, got us talking about them. Hasn’t been since Iverson that I’ve worn Reebok. BTW: They recently released some glow in the dark Iverson’s classic kicks, saw them on twitter. Maybe it’s time for a Reebok-Come back in 2019?

Empire State of Kicks
Extra Butter released some sweet kicks earlier today (2/9/18) Nike Air Force 1 High & Low “NYC”. Nice Dark Blue Obsidian with Brilliant Orange swoosh and soles. With reflective velcro on the High Tops, matching the vibe of the City workers and Street Fashionista’s World-Wide.
The Back has a nice Firehouse inspired logo and you can’t miss the NYC on the front top. They come in High and Low tops. I for sure, prefer the High-Tops with the Reflective Orange and Silver Accents.
Here’s an up close look at the Fire House inspired logo on the back of the Kicks:
The sole has a bit of the Famed Pigeon Dunk flavor. My favorite 2 colors, the NYC Branding & the Reflective tape. Hope to get an email to get a pair. Fingers and Toes both crossed!
What to you think? Street or Take a Seat, let us know in the comments section. See you on the Streetz!
The Crossover Culture B-Ball Kicks
The philosophy behind the Crossover Culture kicks is they are for all positions on the court. Since Big Men are shooting 3’s and dishing dimes. And shorter guys are rockin’ the rim with high-flying dunks, these shoes are made for everyone.
They’re designed by B-Ball players for B-Ball players. And their big selling point is they are comfortable str8t out of the box and the special LP cushion system will last a looong time before wearing out. If it wears out at all.
The Kicks come in both Hi & Low tops. I’d go with the Hi-Tops, up to you.
Here is the information directly from Crossover Culture as found on the EastBay Blog.
And below is a special YouTube video telling us more about the new Crossover Culture Kicks.

Out of the Box: The Rise of Sneaker Culture
Oakland Museum of California
My sister scored Streetzblog some great pictures from a museum in Cali that featured SNEAKERS! Can you believe it, Sneakers, Kicks, Gym shoes, have made it to the museum and the Oakland Museum of California was PACKED with people checking out the vast selection of foot wear!
The exhibit featured over 140 iconic sneakers from the 19th century to present time 2017. Brands included: Nike, Adidas, Puma,Reebok & a few extras. Run DMC and B-Ball Dribbler extraordinaire, Bobbito Garcia donated some of their cool kicks to add to the excitement.
You can learn more about the exhibit here: Out of the Box: The Rise of Sneaker Culture.
Which are your Fav’s. Let us know your thoughts or Fav’s in the comment section. I personally vote for the White Nike Samples. Enjoy the pictures that my sister spent 3 hours battling the crowds on a Sunday afternoon just for me to show to you!
See you on the Streetz! I’ll be checking out Adam Sandler this Sunday night. Should be funny!
Heat on the Street!
Nike Lab teams up with Balmain’s designer of the Celebs; Olivier Rousteing. This collection brings you High End Black and Gold Jackets and Pants for Men and Women. Along with 4 pairs of Football kicks. Including my favorite pair shown above. I like the Simplicity of the Style and the Gold Metallic Back Zip the best!
The whole collection is Black and Gold, Olivier’s favorite colors and the perfect Color-Way for an Olympic year!
I find it pretty amusing that most websites and bloggers are calling the shoes Football inspired. Which, YES, they are in most of the world. But even the U.S sites don’t mention that they are what people in the U.S call Soccer Kicks. I know I got in trouble 1x on YouTube for siting a movie as a Soccer movie. Almost incited an internet riot. So, they’re probably better off calling them Football compared to Soccer. And The Whole Black and Gold ensemble is entitled the “NikeLab x Olivier Rousteing: Football Nouveau” collection. I just figure, I can take the Heat on the word Soccer. I think some are gonna’ be a little confused.
But in reality, this collection will most likely be worn more at the Club then on the Pitch/Field.
This is some pretty Styling Gear. Even though the hype is only 10 days. I suspect it will fly off the net and out of the NikeLab locations.
On June 2, 2016 you can try your best to cop the Kicks and Gear Here. For now, check out the Vid starring OR himself…Hey-Where’s his A-List posse of beautiful people? Playing Football? Maybe Soccer? Probably taking a nap, getting ready for the next party. Wherever they are, it’s good to see OR in action working and the collection is Pure Fire. 🙂
All Sold Out on the PUMA Site, You might Want to Head to the Store NOW if You want these!
Rihanna teamed up with PUMA for the Men’s and Women’s Punk influenced Creeper. Various colorways continue to release. But you’ll want to check back frequently to the PUMA site or sign up for the newsletter. As I last checked (11/22/15) The Black x Oatmeal colorway was Sold-Out for both Men and Women.
Check out the Rihanna x Travi$ Scott Creeper video below to see some Cool shots of the shoes and Hot shots of the two stars. Rumor has it they were crushing on each other during the vid shoot. I can’t really tell, Whatcha’ think of the possbible romance? And thoughts on the Punk influenced soles of the PUMA x Rihanna Creeeper Sneakers?
*BTW: The Daily Mail has the two hitting the 40/40 Club in NYC together on 11/20/15. They do look like a couple, however Rihanna is wearing some Pointy toed black Lace stiletto’s and Travi$ has some blacked out J’s on his feet. In my opinion, they should be rocking their new Creeper Sneakers! I can give Rihanna a pass, since her Stiletto’s matched her outfit, but TraviS was wearing the competition’s gear. #whatsupwiththat
And The even BIGGER story at this moment in time (11/22/15) is: Justin and Selena-Are they really back together?
