Just this past Wednesday the NFL gave Hawaii some great news-The 2013 NFL Pro Bowl will be back and played in Hawaii on Sunday January 27, 2013.  This is great news for Oahu’s economy and for all the awesome things we will be doing in January!  From what I gathered with the math I did in my head, they needed to make a decision between Hawaii and New Orleans by the end of May.  And they came in right under the wire by letting us know the great news on May 30, 2012.  From the look and feel of the press release, it seems the players pushed hard for Hawaii and won!  From seeing them year after year at the beach on their mopeds and at the parties, I’m sure this is where they want to play the game!  According to Ray Anderson .. the NFL Executive Vice President of Football Operations: “The players have made it clear through the NFL players association that they would like the opportunity to continue to play the pro bowl in Hawaii”.  And “The players believe tha the Por Bowl is an important tradition” said NFLPA President Domonique Foxworth. The Picture above is courtesy of from the 2012 Pro Bowl, being there on site of the game, I sure had a great time! Tons of action, beautiful sun, great parties before and after the game and the game itself seemed pretty exciting to me-lots of offense with tons of touch-downs.  I can’t wait for the next Pro Bowl in 2013!
